Waste contamination threatens the world environment, at the same time valuable and recoverable waste resources are being lost.
Serious contamination of the soils and waters of our lands has taken place, and still, continues due to poor waste management whilst the recoverable value of waste is neglected.
A process that can tackle a wide range of problems of different waste products - solid and liquid, organic and inorganic, as well as those with components generally labeled as hazardous - is desperately needed.
